Proofpoint Essentials - Service Notification (Action Required)

Dear Partners,

As part of our ongoing commitment to improve the uptime and availability of our service, we are pleased to announce plans to support geo-redundancy for Proofpoint Essentials.

We will be extending our service to operate in geographically dispersed Data Centers in order to provide customers with even greater service resiliency. As part of this effort, we have added a new IP range that should be added to customers who impose inbound firewall restrictions.

Please ensure that your customer’s firewalls are updated to accept incoming traffic from the following IP Range: 148.163.128.0/19.

**If this IP range is not added to customer firewalls, in the instance of a failover event, email delivery may be disrupted.**

This additional IP range has been added to our Knowledge Base article (link below) as well as our Getting Started guides. If you require updated guides, please download these from our Partner Portal or contact your Channel Account Manager or our Support team.

We will provide updates in the coming weeks to report on our progress and provide additional information.
