Setting up FuseMail to Re-Route outgoing mail to Zix Encryption Servers for certain users.

  • Add Zix Smart Host Site
  • Create User Group
  • Add Users to User Group
  • Create Outbound Encryption Policy

 

Add Zix Smart Host Site.

  1. Go to Service Settings > Inbound Routing > click on Add Site button.
  2. Give the Site a Name, leave Default Site box unchecked.
  3. To the right of Mail Server section, click on the Add icon (+), enter hostname or IP of the server click the green check mark and click Save.

Create Group.

  1. Go to Users > User Groups
  2. Click on the Add icon (+)
  3. Give the Group a Name and a brief description, then Save and Close.

Add Users to Group created.

  1. Go to Users > Users
  2. Now select each user needing to be added to the group and under “Action on Selected” button, select “Add to Groups”.
  3. In the pop up window, type the Group name you want the users added to, then Save and Close the window.

Create an Outbound Policy.

  1. Go to Policies > Advanced Policies > “For Outbound Mail” tab
  2. Click on Create Policy
    1. Give the Policy a Name,
    2. leave the Applies to “Outgoing Messages”,
    3. change Enabled for to Specified Groups and select the Group you created above.
    4. Under Rules Section all the way to the right click on >>Advanced, and change the dropdown to “Match all Msgs”
    5. Under Actions, select Route message to specific site and select the Route, click “Add” and “Create Policy” to save.

ERROR: This domain name does not match domain registered in the license key file (cms.orlinpilot.com), allowed domains: support.excelmicro.com, please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed.
