Where do I Download the Outlook Plugin for Email Archiving?

NOTE - only users with the role of Customer Administrator or higher can download the Archive Add-in software from the Email Archiving online help section.

The archive tool is an add-in that is only compatible with Microsoft Outlook. It will not work with other mail clients.

When installing the plugin for the first time, you will be asked to log in using a control console account and password. If the user credentials are entered incorrectly, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

 

Supported Versions of Microsoft Outlook

  • 2007
  • 2010

 

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit)
  • Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)

 

Types of searches supported:

  1. Phrase
  2. Any Word:
  3. All Words:

 

Where does the plug-in search within an email?

  • Message header
  • Subject line
  • Message body
  • Attached name
  • Attached body

ERROR: This domain name does not match domain registered in the license key file (cms.orlinpilot.com), allowed domains: support.excelmicro.com,localhost, please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed.
