Notice: First, please make sure that your connection is configured correctly to accept connection from FuseMail on the desired port.

to Automatically create your users of your domain(s) you can synchronize users via LDAP from your Active Directory.

To set up LDAP synchronization, use the following steps:

  1. Login to the Fusemail Portal
  2. In the menu to the left, click Service settings followed by LDAP
  3. In 'Host(s)' field, specify the server name or IP address that we will connect to at your end
  4. If you wish to use encrypted connection, check SSL to do this (Notice: normal connection uses standard port 389 and SSL uses 636)
  5. In Username and Password fields, enter the credentials that'll be used to connect to your server Leave these fields blank if you have no authentication to the server (we do recommend you to set up)
  6. In Base DN field, specify the top level of the LDAP base tree. Below this is where the query can pull users from
  7. Choose the preferred frequency for the automatic synchronization
  8. Press Save

Please use the Test button to check that the connection is valid and if the test is successful then you can synchronize. From here, either press Sync now to synchronize manually or leave it saved and let the automated synchronization start.
