Archive connection failing with error “There was a problem connecting to the server” when performing connection test

This can be down to a number of factors, please check the items below and if the connection is still not successful log a support ticket and an archive engineer will assist.

  1. Firewall issue. Make sure your firewall is setup to accept connections on ports 143 and 993 from the following IP Addresses:
  2. Check the IMAP service on the exchange server is running

  3. Check IMAP Proxy is active. See steps in article to verify:


ERROR: This domain name does not match domain registered in the license key file (, allowed domains:,localhost, please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed.
