Commonly, when issues are reported with pages not displaying correctly in the Control Console or unintended behavior with any of our products (Email Protection, Email Archiving and Web Protection), it can be traced back to use of an unsupported browser.

Some behaviors that are seen are:

-       Information submitted on a page but it does not “take” or reverts to previous information.
-       Screens do not populate or load appropriately.
-       Cannot click or access menus
-       Page transitions do not load appropriately.

McAfee supports the following browsers when used with our Control Console or any of our services:

  • Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8+
  • Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7
  • Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8+
  • Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7
  • Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7
  • Internet Explorer 9 on Windows Vista
  • Firefox on Windows 8+
  • Firefox on Windows 7
  • Firefox on Windows Vista
  • Firefox on Windows XP
  • Firefox on OS X
  • Chrome on Windows 8+
  • Chrome on Windows 7
  • Chrome on Windows Vista
  • Chrome on Windows XP
  • Chrome on OS X
  • Safari 6.x on OS X 10.7 (Web Protection End User only)
  • Safari 6.x on OS X 10.8 (Web Protection End User only)


Beta release browsers and mobile browsers are not currently supported for use with McAfee SaaS products.


ERROR: This domain name does not match domain registered in the license key file (cms.orlinpilot.com), allowed domains: support.excelmicro.com, please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed.
